All of our coaches are experienced LTA licensed, DRB checked and First Aid appointed people. Helping our coaches are the assistants who are hand picked and training to work with both the children and as part of a team. Without the team none of this would be possible!!
DAY TENNIS CAMP:
MINI TENNIS CAMP:
10am - 3.30pm each day. 7 years and up.
Our tennis day camp runs from 10am - 3.30pm on a daily basis. Here children aged 7 upwards come together to learn, socialise, and practise tennis strokes and techniques needed to play and enjoy tennis.
Each day campers start together with a range of warm up drills, coordination, balance and footwork exercises and games. The campers are then split into standard based groups to learn and practise a different tennis shot each day. We ask the children to watch demonstrations and then become coaches and give feedback to help their learning. We have found this a great way to help children understand what they are being asked to do themselves.
Many children come to our tennis camps year after year to choose their favourite games and drills. We have loads, and can guarantee your child will have a favourite to take home and tell you about.
The last day of each camp is tournament day. A fun, standard based set of matches to put together everything practised and learnt. At the end everyone receives a prize to help them remember their experience on camp.
10am - 12.00pm each day. 4 -7 years
Our mini tennis camp runs from 10am - 12.00pm on a daily basis. Children aged 4 upwards come together to learn, socialise, and practise tennis strokes and techniques needed to play and enjoy tennis.
Our highly trained, thoughtful and experienced coaches understand what is needed to help younger children learn. Hence, we have used our experience to teach, through game based exercises and lessons the ABC's (agility, balance and coordination)needed to play tennis. Each day starts this way before more technical based games and learning begins. Each activity is aimed to help your child understand and practise the technique needed to hit that tennis ball over the net.
Our mini campers have several periods of action each morning broken with short rest breaks where the children play, drink and snack.
At the end of each camp the children receive prizes and a certificate to mark their efforts and help them see their improvements through a physical reward.
